ABOUT WINDY RANGE RETREAT

Located on the top of a small mountain, on a parcel of land just under 20 acres, you will enjoy expansive mountain views from every window of this house. Wildlife wanders the area, including bears, wolves, coyotes, rattlesnakes (May to October) and occasionally, moose, so it's not for the faint of heart. When outside, children should be closely monitored and pets should always be leashed.

The home's main floor has a great room with huge windows and a flat-screen TV. You'll enjoy the plush sleeper sofa and chairs, dining table which can easily seat six people, and its well-appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, toaster and all the dinnerware, pots and pans you might need.

Also on the main floor are the primary bedroom, which boasts a comfortable queen-sized bed, and a second bedroom with a queen-sized bed and twin-sized bunks. The laundry room is easily accessible and features a full-size washer, dryer and an oversized sink.

Climb up the ladder to the second-story loft where you'll find another TV, plus a nice collection of toys and games. There's also a queen-sized futon, providing additional sleeping space. Linens and towels are provided for your stay.

This wonderful cabin is located in a gated community with friendly neighbors who aren't too close by. It's an all season playground where within 30 minutes you can enjoy the top-rated Gamble Sands Golf course, Lake Chelan and Loup Loup Ski Mountain.

The City of Brewster participates in the Dark Skies Initiative and follows strict night lighting restrictions. That results in amazing views of the night sky, making meteor showers a fantastic treat. To take full advantage of the night sky, Windy Range Retreat has a telescope for exploring the galaxy. You can even hook the telescope up to your phone for some amazing photos.

Due to high risk of fire, no fires of any kind are allowed on the property. No candles, tiki torches or fire pits, please!

ABOUT BREWSTER

Located near the confluence of the Columbia and Okanogan Rivers, Brewster is a gateway to the lands of the north. It was founded in 1910 by miners, railroad men, loggers and agriculturalists, who contributed to the thousands of acres of fruit orchards that are now in the area.

The town has five museums as well as the Okanogan Interpretive center, which is the site of the first fur trading post in Washington State.

The area boasts a multitude of outdoor activity options, including golf, fly fishing, skiing, boating, hunting, bird watching and more. North Cascades National Park is within driving distance and provides spectacular views of mountain peaks and deep, glacier-fed lakes and rivers.
